Nanometrology: An Emerging Priority for the Asia-Pacific Region
The Asia-Pacific region is home to 60% of the world’s population, and it is experiencing an increasing demand for nanomaterials in electronics, medical equipment, and automotive products. Despite this, few countries have enacted legislation to support the development of nanometrology-related tools, standards, and international collaborations.
In this policy brief document, learn more about the growing use of nanomaterials across different sectors, and the need for reliable, accurate, and standardised measurement of these materials. Guidance and suggestions for policymakers are included, as well as an example from the Philippines.
